All Packed and Ready to Roll

You do not want to miss out on the All-Clubs Crate this month! If you love summer, you’re going to want everything this crate has to offer! Today’s card is ready to roll into vacation, and the family pets are checking things out.

A Starburst Stitching Die!

I started today’s card with a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Lilac ColorWheel Cardstock, and die cut it with Stitched Sunshine, the Stitching Die of the Month. This die creates a sunburst pattern that is quick to stitch and I did so with some lavender DMC thread.

Are You Ready to Roll?

Next, I used Ready to Roll, the Small Die of the Month. The suitcase was cut from Dahlia and Tutu ColorWheel Cardstock and added accents in Coral. I love the details on this suitcase, with its mesh partition which holds whatever you decide to put in it. In today’s case, I used the electronics that come with the die set, cutting them from Lilac, Lavender, Peridot and Rain Forest ColorWheel Cardstock.

The dog and cat were cut from Classic White, Anchor, Raven and Blush cardstock. After gluing the suitcase to the stitched background, I popped up the pets with some foam tape.

I wanted to partially frame this cute little scene, so I used a cloud die from Butterfly Dance. I cut it twice from Classic White cardstock and then added the pieces at the top and bottom edges of the card.

Stamps of the Month, Burst of Summer

Finally, I finished the card with two sentiments from Burst of Summer, stamped in green ink. They were die cut with their coordinating dies. I love that the Stamp of the Month always includes dies for the images or sentiments.
