Santa Goose and his Festive Elf

Buckle up! Santa Goose is skipping the sleigh and is ready to hit the road in a bright red car. Along for the ride is his decked-out elf who’s ready for a Christmas adventure!

For this card, I combined Hero Arts’ Beep Beep and Beep Beep Holiday Extras Dies with Spellbinders’ Merry Goosemas exclusive dies to create a festive little scene that makes me smile. If you been waiting for the Beep Beep dies to be back in stock, your wait is over, but you’d better grab them before they sell out again!

Santa Goose: An October Surprise!

The Merry Goosemas dies are an exclusive set that come with October’s All-Clubs Crate. It features an adorable goose with four different outfits for the holidays, and they’re simply too cute! I love getting Spellbinders fabulous bonus dies each month!!

For today’s card, I made two geese with one wearing a Santa suit and hat, while the other is dressed as a jolly Christmas elf. I placed them side by side in the car, and I think they make quite the pair. Santa Goose is large and in charge behind the wheel!

On the Road in Style

I made the car a bright red to give the card that classic Christmas look. The car’s headlights have a fun, sparkly finish, because I cut them from Holographic Specialty Cardstock. After cutting and assembling the light strings, I added them across the front bumper. The string of lights, reindeer antlers and red nose are from the Beep Beep Holiday Extras Dies and are a great way to make a festive car.

A Simple Winter Backdrop

For the background, I used Cascade ColorWheel Cardstock to create a wintry sky, adding white snowflakes to make it look like the geese are out for a Christmas drive. A strip of white cardstock along the bottom finishes the scene and gives the car a snowy road to travel on.

Crafting with Cheer

I found the perfect greeting from Crafting with Cheer stamp and die set, which simply says, “Merry Goosemas”. This set is the October Stamp & Die of the Month and it’s full of playful sentiments, perfect for all of your holiday cards!

I really enjoy mixing and matching products from different companies to see what I can create. The Hero Arts Beep Beep Dies provide the perfect vehicle for this scene, while the Spellbinders Merry Goosemas dies supply all the personality. Together, they make a Christmas card that’s a little unexpected and a whole lot of fun.

Now, if these two can manage to deliver Christmas cheer without getting pulled over for honking too much, I’d say their holiday mission is a success!
