Last month I rejoined the Waffle Flower Sneak Peek Club and I’m so glad I did! The June sneak peek was a new addition to their Postage Collage series, Window Die. With the Window Die, I also received Windowsill Plants Dies and Window Sentiments stamp set. Also included was Subsentiments, Window, a club exclusive, which is a set of pre-stamped, die cut sentiments that are white on black.
Getting a Sneak Peek
This club allows subscribers to get a sampling of products from the following month’s new release. Hence the name “Sneak Peek Club”! For just $29.99, it’s a fun way to try new things before everyone else. You can subscribe too, by clicking this link and signing up: Waffle Flower Sneak Peek Club.
Creating a Window Themed Card
Today’s card uses these new products, along with the Postage Collage Blocks Die which was already a part of my Waffle Flower stash!

To begin, I die cut all of the Windowsill Plants Dies from white cardstock and then colored them with Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. I chose a color scheme of pink, peach, green and blue, varying the shades along the way. Once the coloring was done, I glued the plants into their pots and set them aside for later.
The Window Dies were also cut from white and set aside.
I cut the Postage Collage Blocks Die twice. Once from blue cardstock for the windows, and then from some coral Spiffier Speckles (lawn Fawn) for the frame. This paper has golden speckles that shimmer in the light!
I glued the coral frame to a card base of cherry red, then I added the blue inside each window opening. Next I carefully glued the white window frames over each window.

Adding the Windowsill Plants
Finally, it was time to add the die cut plants and I played with placement before gluing everything down. The last step was to add a Subsentiment, which I popped up with foam tape. It reads “A little note from my window to yours”. I love having these subsentiments on hand because they’re ready to use. Waffle Flower has a variety of themes to pick from and at only $2 each, it’s affordable to grab them all!
Overall, I think my first attempt with these new products turned out pretty well and I can’t wait to make some more! If you’d like to some more Postage Collage cards, here’s four from a previous post: Make Amazing Cards.
Until next time,
~Krista
