Festive Fun with Spellbinders’ Cozy Toes Slippers
If you’re ready to slip into this holiday season, the Exclusive Cozy Toes Slippers Collection from Spellbinders is the perfect place to start! This adorable release features slipper-themed dies that can be dressed up in endless ways, and for my latest projects, I’ve gone full winter wonderland—complete with sparkling snow, penguins, and even Rudolph himself!
To make each card feel extra magical, I used Snowfall Shimmer BetterPress Plate for the backgrounds. I love that BetterPress Plates can also be hot foiled with the Glimmer Machine! Using Sky Bright Foil on a Windy ColorWheel Cardstock panel, I added a beautiful shimmer that catches the light and creates a glistening, icy effect. It’s the perfect way to set a wintry scene behind these charming slippers—and the sparkle ties everything together beautifully.
Penguin Slippers & Tag

For my first card, I couldn’t resist creating a pair of penguin slippers—cute, cozy, and oh-so-cold-weather-ready! I cut the slipper bases from Pomegranate ColorWheel Cardstock and used white and black pieces to form each penguin face.
Behind the slippers, the Snowfall Shimmer background gives the illusion of flurries falling softly from the sky. I added snow drifts and a sentiment strip that reads “I’d leave the house for you”.
To coordinate, I created a matching gift tag using the same penguin design and the purse from Fur-ever Fabulous, turning it into a delightful ornament tag—ready to hang on a present or even on the tree!

The foiled sentiments on both tags are from Christmas Sentiments BetterPress Plate (sold out) and were foiled with Red Glimmer Hot Foil Roll.
Rudolph Slippers & Tag

Next up, it wouldn’t be Christmas without Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer! These slippers practically glow with holiday cheer. I cut the faces from Acorn ColorWheel Cardstock and used Truffle ColorWheel Cardstock for the antlers. A red nose, cut from Pomegranate ColorWheel Cardstock was the perfect finish!
Once again, the Snowfall Shimmer background set the perfect scene. The Cozy Toes Friends Sentiment was the perfect finishing touch and says “Want to hang out in real life? Slippers allowed”.
And just like before, I made a coordinating tag ornament stitched with green DMC thread. Add a shimmering gold purse handle and you’ve got a festive decoration that’s just as fun as the card itself!
Beyond the Card Front: Rudolph & Friends

One of my favorite things about the Cozy Toes Slippers Collection is how easily the designs go beyond the card. These slippers make adorable gift tags, ornaments, or even mini garlands when strung together. The stitching details and layered dies add just the right amount of dimension and charm, no matter how you use them.
A Warm Finish
From frosty penguins to glowing Rudolphs, this Limited Time Cozy Toes Slippers Collection is all about spreading warmth, sparkle, and smiles this winter. Whether you’re making cards, tags, or ornaments, these little slippers are sure to step up your holiday crafting in the most festive way!
So grab your dies, sprinkle on some shimmer, and slip into the season with Cozy Toes! I’ve shared several posts giving you ideas for these awesome products and I hope you’ve been inspired. If you need a recap, here are the links:
