Shark Bite-From Slippers to the Deep Blue Sea

Sometimes one die set can surprise you with just how much it can do—and the Cozy Toes Slippers Collection from Spellbinders is one of those gems! Today I’m sharing two fin-tastic cards featuring the shark from this collection, each with a completely different vibe. One is cozy and cute, the other bold and adventurous—showing just how diverse this die set truly is!

Card 1: Shark Slippers

For the first card, I stayed true to the Cozy Toes theme and created a pair of adorable shark slippers. Using two shades of gray cardstock, I assembled the slippers and gave each shark a sweet (and slightly toothy) grin.

To complete the cozy look, I placed the slippers on a patterned background, giving it a homey look. A stamped sentiment from Cozy Toes Friends Sentiments ties it all together perfectly. It’s the kind of card that makes you smile before you even open it!

Card 2: Under the Sea Adventure

For my second card, I decided to take the shark out of the slippers and into the ocean! By combining the shark die with other underwater elements, I created a mini scuba scene featuring two scuba divers (The Deep Blue Two) exploring the deep blue sea.

I cut the shark from light & dark gray cardstock and gave him a sleek, slightly mischievous look. The background was textured with Underwater Waltz 3D embossing folder to create ann ocean scene , and I added coral, bubbles, and seaweed for extra movement and color. The scuba divers were positioned so it looks like they’ve just spotted this friendly fin gliding by!

A sentiment from Paper Splash stamp set makes this card perfect for anyone who loves the ocean—or just appreciates a clever twist on a die set.
