Hello, friends! Today’s card is all about fun, fiesta vibes with the Sip Sip Olé! die set from the Happier Hour Collection at Spellbinders! This playful collection has everything you need to craft the ultimate party-in-a-card — from a frosty margarita glass to a cute little sombrero, citrus slices, and even a hot chili pepper! It’s the perfect way to send a cheerful “cheers!” for birthdays, celebrations, or just because. With its companion BetterPress set, Sip Sip Ole’ Sentiments, finding the right words is easy-peasy.
Making a Sip Sip Ole’ greeting card…
I started by die-cutting the margarita glass from smooth black card stock, adding a green filling to give it that classic limey hue. To mimic that classic salted rim, I cut the edge from glitter paper — after all, what’s a margarita without a little sparkle? To make it look extra refreshing, I added some clay limes and sequins to the glass.
Sip Sip Ole’ Details…
Next came the details — and oh, are they cute! The sombrero is die-cut from warm orange card stock with red and yellow bands. The lime slice, avocado and chili pepper all layer beautifully to bring this sassy drink to life.

Adding Spanish flair to Sip Sip Ole’…
For the background, I chose a bright teal panel with a fun geometric pattern, backed by a bold striped panel. These were cut with two dies from Arch Labels and Tags Etched Dies, giving the card a shape that’s reminiscent of Spanish architecture. I finished it off with a playful sentiment “A day this good calls for extra lime”. The Sip Sip Ole’ Sentiment set includes shaped dies, cutting each phrase with precision.
When it’s all said and done…
This card just makes me smile — it’s bold, colorful, and full of personality. Whether you’re sending it to a friend who loves margaritas or just want to brighten someone’s day, the Sip Sip Olé! die set delivers all the good vibes and sunshine. In fact, the entire Happier Hour Collection is a must have and you can order yours today! Just follow one of my links to be taken to Spellbinders.
