Hello Crafty Friends! Sometimes a card design starts with a theme—and sometimes it starts with a color palette you just can’t resist. For this project, I knew I wanted to play with all the pinks and give this sporty design a fun, girlfriend twist using the Spellbinders Stitching Die of the Month: Everyday MVP.
This month’s clubs have a “you-can-do-it” feel to them. Because I have a granddaughter who’ll be playing softball this Spring, this club really speaks to me. I can’t wait to see her excitement as she knocks that ball across the field!
Steps to Make it
For today’s card, I started with a panel of Blush ColorWheel Cardstock measuring 4.25″ x 5.5″. I textured it with the 3D Embossing Folder of the Month, Urban Grid, which is a city map. The map lover in me would like to know which city it represents, but I digress!
Next, I used the two cloud dies from Unstoppable, the March Small Die of the Month. I stamped a sentiment with pink ink onto one of the clouds. The sentiments from Good Times stamp & die set offers some great options for encouragement and friendship. This is the Stamp & Die of the Month and it’s fabulous!

Girlfriend, You’re No. 1
Finally, my card base was ready for the star of the show—a stitched baseball hat created with the Everyday MVP die set. One thing I always appreciate about Spellbinders’ stitching dies is how versatile they are. You can add the stitching for that extra handmade texture and detail or simply layer the die cuts on their own for a clean, polished look. Either way, the design shines!
I cut the hat pieces from Tutu and Wild Berry ColorWheel Cardstock before stitching with a coordinating pink thread. I love that the front patch or emblem has multiple options, like “MVP”, “Boss”, “Dad”, “No. 1”, plus a blank one that you can customize!
March Clubs are open now, and with an Everyday Legends theme, the sky’s the limit! Check out the All-Clubs Crate to see them all. If you like a comic book, superhero, urban look, then this month’s clubs will strike your fancy! Grab them while you can, girlfriend!

Until next time,
