Mix It Up Stamping Technique

Exotic Botanical Builder Framelits, by Krista Thomas, www.regalstamping.com, Mix It Up Stamping Technique

The Mix Up Stamping Technique came about because I got to thinking about all of the flower stamps that I have that do not have coordinating punches or framelits. What would happen if I mixed things up a bit? I went to my stamp library and was immediately drawn to the retired set, Betsy’s Blossoms. If you don’t own this set, there is a similar stamp in our current catalog in a set called I Think You’re Great.
Look through your flower stamps, background stamps and framelits and see what you can Mix Up!  In the photo below, you’ll see where I cut out the different shapes using the Botanical Builder Framelits.

Find a stamp that is slightly larger than or the same shape as the framelit you’d like to use. Stamp the image and then cut with framelit.  Don’t forget your large background stamps…there are some really nice patterns for this technique!
You are only limited by your imagination and the possibilities are endless.
