Jolly Friends, Naughty or Nice? PCC208

When I saw this week’s Paper Craft Crew Challenge sketch # PCC208, I knew I needed to play along. With all of my new Christmas products needing some love, it should have been a hard choice which stamp to use. But I knew immediately that the moose from Jolly Friends was the right place to start.

Here’s the sketch…

And here’s my Jolly Friends, Naughty or Nice? PCC208 card, featuring the moose from Jolly Friends peering over the top of his sunglasses and asking his standard question, “naughty or nice?”.  The inside of the card says “…either way, you’re on my list!”.

I thought the holly would be a nice background accent and because the stamps are photopolymer, it was so easy to line up the images.  All of the leaves were stamped with Garden Green, in  1st, 2nd and 3rd generations.  If you’re not familiar with generation stamping, it simply means re-stamping an image without re-inking the stamp.  So if you ink up your image and stamp it, that would be 1st generation, stamping again without re-inking would be 2nd generation and so on.  The color gets lighter and lighter with each generation.

Behind the moose is a Garden Green panel which is embossed with the new Cable Knit Dynamics Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#143537) which creates a deep impression.  The folder itself is very thick and only requires the use of one embossing pad when you run it through your Big Shot.
