2015 A Year In Review, Scrapbook Layout 12 x 12, all Stampin’ Up!

2015_a_year_in_review-1

We made this 12 x 12 layout in my January scrapbook classes, “2015, A Year in Review”. Everything is from Stampin’ Up!, however, some of the products are now retired.
Expressive Flexible Phrases is an old set from 2006 which has lots of individual words that can be used together to create phrases.  I used them on this layout to say “cherish the memories” and “remember the laughter”.

The background paper is a retired color “Not Quite Navy” which has always been one of my favorites and I had plenty of it so I decided to quit hoarding it!  (Please tell me I’m not the only paper hoarder…?!?)

A close-up of the title…the little words are from a retired set called “Expressive Flexible Phrases”and  the numbers are from the new Number of Years bundle.  Some of the class attendees were frustrated because they couldn’t get a clean image from the stamps, but they are suppose to be that way.  If you look at the catalog picture, that’s just how they’re suppose to look.  Once I explained that, they were okay with it 🙂

We used the Sunburst Thinlit and a circle framelit to create a back drop for “YEAR”.

I love to add little pops of color here and there on my layouts, so we added  some with this little accent.  We used half of a silver doily, some Cherry On Top washi tape and a couple of punches.
