Rose Garden Bandana Technique

One of my technique class projects this week was this “country elegant” birthday card featuring the Rose Garden  “Bandana Technique”.  It’s really simple to do, but it helps to keep the panels small if you’re short on time or patience.

You will need a white gel pen, preferably one that actually works, like the Signo Uni-Ball brand that Stampin’ Up! sells.  Honestly, I have seen more cheap (or maybe not so cheap) white gel pens that don’t work at all.  Save yourself the hassle & frustration and just order one from Stampin’ Up!  Seriously, you can thank me later!

Choose a stamp such as the simple leaf branch from the Rose Wonder set, and stamp with black ink on red paper. Use your white gel pen to dot around the edges of your stamped design.  It’s really that easy!  And keep in mind that bandanas do come in other colors…so try it on turquoise, pink or light blue, and just have FUN!

Thanks for stopping by, but don’t leave before you check out some of my other projects below 🙂
