In my previous post from February 1, I said that I would show you what I did with the remaining sunburst panel. After cutting out the 5.25″ x 4″ Sunburst in Daffodil Delight, I glued it to a Pumpkin Pie panel of the same size. Then I trimmed off 2″ for the Beautiful Ride card (see Feb. 1 post) and that left 3.25″ x 4″ to use on this card. It is glued to a Coastal Cabana card base which is one of our retired In Colors that I miss so much.
I love the banner that is from the Large Number Framelit set and will admit that I bought the entire set just to have that little banner. Crazy, I know, but I have used it so much already! The waves on the lower portion of the card are from the Cups & Kettle Framelit set.
I have always loved maps, something I credit my dad with. My mom has never liked reading a map, so when we would go on a trip, my dad would hand the map to my brother, sister & I and we would figure out what he needed to know. So when I saw the Going Global stamp set and the coordinating World Map embossing folder, it just spoke to me. It will work together nicely with the World Map background stamp too, and will make some nice masculine cards. Give me an atlas full of maps and I’m a happy girl 🙂
Would you like to see another version of this card using the You’re Sublime stamp set? Here it is:
The submarine was water colored and then cut out and adhered with dimensionals.
