Occasionally I end up with a mess on my crafting table (okay, not just occasionally, any time I’m in the room!!). Invariably the mess contains leftover pieces of card stock or pieces that were cut or die cut and then cast aside. And sometimes those pieces catch my eye and I start playing and end up with an acceptable card. Such was the case with this card which I am sharing with you today. It features the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits from the 2017 Occasions Catalog by Stampin’ Up!
Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Card…the details
The colors I used are Mint Macaron, Sweet Sugarplum, Tip Top Taupe, Blushing Bride, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla.
I cut two sets of dragonflies in Early Espresso and Very Vanilla, off-setting the two colors before popping them up on the brick wall background. It takes some very tiny pieces of Stampin’ Dimensionals to accomplish that task!
The dragonflies are brushed lightly with my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.
The accent hearts are punched from my favorite go-to punch, Confetti Hearts Border Punch, which I use so much I think I’d be lost without it!
