Create Your Retreat Stamp Camp & Crop

Every year my Stampin’ Up team and I pack up our craft rooms and head to Create Your Retreat Stamp Camp & Crop in Canyonville Oregon where we set up a 30 foot long Stampin’ Up booth.  We have four rustic lemonade stands that are made from old barn wood and those become our Make & Take stations for the weekend.  We rotate demonstrators and projects every two hours at each station for 2 days, which amounts to 44 different projects!  Our booth was the busiest we’ve ever been because of the Make & Takes but also because of the beautiful photo op frame that we decorated with paper succulents and dragonflies.

The old wooden window frame that we used for the photo op had been leaning against a tree on Vicky K’s property for 44 years, so you can imagine the mossy rustic look of this frame.  We made big succulents out of card stock which Michelle then used to decorate the frame. We added some gold glittery dragonflies for a pop of bling and the frame was ready to go!  Here are a few pictures of my fabulous team, The Regal Stampers.

Now for some photo props which my lovely daughter-in-law, Makesha Thomas, helped me make.  Thanks Kesha!!

And here is a close up of the succulents which were made with various retired Sizzix flower dies.

My team and I had the best vendor booth there (if I do say so myself!!) and it was hopping with shoppers and picture takers all weekend long.  I am so blessed to call these wonderful ladies my friends and stampin’ sisters!

We had a fabulously fun weekend and I can’t wait to do it again next year.

  1. I must say that your booth looks pretty awesome, looks like there was a lot of work that went into it. From other years I have attended, I have never seen any booths that decorate or come close to what you do for the event. Well done, Krista !!

    • Thank you Joan. It was a huge team effort, including our husbands and a son who did the heavy lifting, moving and electrical stuff. The other booths are just stores, but we are there to inspire and create!!
