Ocean & Coffee Theme Framed Art

I have been busy getting ready for my upcoming framed art classes and I’m thrilled at how excited everyone is to attend!  I’ve already shared the wine theme framed art in November and today I’ll be sharing the ocean & coffee themes, along with some updated pictures of the wine theme. So much fun and it’s all on a 12 x 12 canvas!

If you’d like to purchase a finished piece to call your own, just head on over to my Etsy store here.

If you love the ocean and walking on the beach, then you’re a lot like me and you’ll understand my inspiration for this beach themed art.  One of my favorite beaches in Oregon is Turtle Rock in Gold Beach.  Maybe you can see from this picture how this beach got it’s name…and that’s me sharing my morning coffee 🙂

This rock formation is huge, so I am standing on a ledge in the foreground, which you cannot see, so that I could share my drink with Mr. Turtle.  Without that ledge, I couldn’t have even reached his chin!

The ocean & coffee…two of my favorite things!!

Now without further ado, here’s the framed art…

I had so much fun pulling out lots of different stamp sets and accessories to create these pieces.

Here are a couple more updated pictures of the wine frames that I shared in November.

Paper Players Sketch Challenge, Follow Your Heart

Paper Players Challenge PP305, by Krista Thomas, www.regalstamping.com, You're Sublime, Always an Adventure, all products by Stampin' Up!

Today I am sharing a card that I made for a challenge at The Paper Players.

It’s a pretty simple design and I wanted to give it a summertime theme.  Since we just came back from a camping trip, it was an easy decision to use the trailer from Stampin’ Up!’s You’re Sublime (#139309).  I added some mountains by using the Outdoor Adventure Framelits Dies (#141480) in both Emerald Envy and Cucumber Crush.  The trailer was stamped with Black StazOn ink on watercolor paper and then colored with an aqua painter using Peekaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder, So Saffron, Smokey Slate and Flirty Flamingo.  It is all placed on a Pool Party background embossed with clouds.  The card base is Flirty Flamingo with a mat of Peekaboo Peach.

The trail sign is from Always an Adventure (#141547) and was cut with Outdoor Adventure Framelits Dies (#141480).  I think I accomplished my summertime theme and it’s making me want to take off on another camping adventure!  Thanks for visiting and I hope you liked my card!
