I love this fun set of stamps and dies and was very sad to see it on the retiring list. It will only be available for purchase while supplies last, up until May 31, 2017. After that, it’s gone for good. There are so many animals that can be designed with Playful Pals and this cute elephant is one of them!
I was inspired by a card on Pinterest that was made by Julie Kettlewell here. She did a little jungle scene on her card, but I decided to make this one a party scene, complete with balloons.
Check out the inside of the card and then I’ll share how I made the tri-fold card base. And yes, I accidentally smeared some yellow ink on the back of one ear.
And another view…
Doesn’t he have just the cutest little tush?!
If you’re wondering how I made the tri-fold card base, here are the details. The window panel is Soft Suede and measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ with a score at 1/4″, parallel to the 5 1/4″ side. I cut the window using a square framelit and then stamped both sides with the Hardwood background stamp inked with Early Espresso. The little 1/4″ fold goes behind the left side of a Wild Wasabi panel measuring 4″ x 5 1/4″. The Wild Wasabi panel is then glued to the left inside of a Garden Green base cut at 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and folded in half.
Don’t miss out on owning Playful Pals (the stamps) & Pyramid Pals (the framelits). You can order your own just by clicking on the pictures below, which will take you to my Stampin’ Up store. If you have kids, they’ll love creating their own little creatures! And if you want it for yourself, that’s okay too. I’m enabling you!
This goat punch art came into existence because of my friend Carolyn, who raises Nigerian Dwarf goats and also loves punch art and Stampin’ Up! She has been asking me to create a goat for quite a while so I finally sat down and did it!
Carolyn is one of those people who always makes me laugh, so I wanted my goat to make her laugh. I wanted my goat to have a “cartoon-ish” look and whether I succeeded or not, I don’t know. But I do think he’s kind of cute and he did make Carolyn laugh!
I used only Stampin’ Up! punches and the smallest oval framelit for the body. Can you guess what I used for the beard and tail?
Send me your comments and tell me what else you’d like to see. Is there a punch art design you’ve been wishing for? Let me know and I’ll see what I can do!

I love punch art and wanted to make a special one for my husband since he is a serious Oregon Duck fan. Every piece of clothing he wears is green & yellow and even our family room is decked out in the team colors. So I thought it was time to create a punch art design of the University of Oregon duck mascot, Puddles, since I had not seen one done before. I also wanted to make use of Stampin’ Up!’s Bow Builder punch in a creative way…check out Puddle’s legs and hat! Here is my creation…GO DUCKS!!
