Birthday Wit stamp set has some fun sayings and I thought this word bubble worked great on this card.
The nature scene was stamped with Waterfront and the bird in the sky is from Wherever You Go.
I think a fun saying for the inside of this card would be something like this- “Just kidding, I didn’t forget…Congratulations on turning another year older”…or it could simply say “happy belated birthday”.
Either way, I’m having fun creating different scenes and it’s easy to do with the Waterfront set. Here’s another card that I made with it. If you’d like to order your own set, just click on the product picture below and you’ll be taken to my Stampin’ Up store, and thank you in advance!

TGIS…(Thank God it’s….Saturday!) I hope you’ve all had a great week, the first one of 2018, and are happy that the weekend has arrived.
I decided to make a card that would fit the Sunday Stamps Challenge (SSC169) shown above and here’s what I came up with:
I used a new set from the 2018 Occasions catalog, We Must Celebrate, and colored the animals in with my PrismaColor Pencils. The ribbon is Tangerine Tango which to my eyes looked almost identical to Calypso Coral.
I used a glitter pen to color in some of the confetti on the blue background, and the swish under the critter’s feet is from Waterfront, another new stamp set shown here.

When I was in grade school, I had a friend who lived on a dairy ranch and of course they had a big barn. It was always full of cows and we really weren’t suppose to play in or around it, but one day we decided to climb the fence and take a peek. Lo and behold, we discovered a big bull staring right at us and we frantically ran back to the fence to escape what we were sure would be sudden death if he decided to charge. Thankfully we survived (LOL) but we had a wonderful story of bravery to tell at school the following week and of course it was greatly embellished! HA!
When I saw this Barn Door stamp set in the new Occasions Catalog, I couldn’t resist it as I began thinking of all the fun things that could be hiding behind it. For this card, I decided to use a cute hedgehog from the new Hedgehugs stamp set. (Because who wants to see a scary bull?!!)
The barn door slides on it’s runners to reveal the cute hedgehog as shown below.
The panel behind the hedgehog was stamped using the Waterfront set to create sky, sun and grass and I think it’s a set is going to be very popular. You can see this beauty a bit better in my previous post, here.

Hello and Happy New Year!
With Christmas behind us for another year, I found myself without any desire to stamp. Has that ever happened to you? What does a girl do when that happens? I turned to some fellow stampers on my favorite website in the world…SplitCoastStampers…and asked for suggestions to get my mojo back.
How to get your MOJO back…
I got several good ideas starting with CASEing the catalog, which simply means to copy a sample that someone else has already made. Another idea was to just get out in the craft room and cut some white mats which is a staple item in any stamper’s stash of tools.
So I forced myself to follow those suggestions and I CASEd a few cards, cut some mats and called it good for the day.
Yay for MOJO!
This morning when I woke up, I had an idea and I couldn’t wait to get out into my craft room. That was a happy feeling for sure and the above card was the result of some quick stamping.
All the details…
I used a new stamp set called Waterfront, which has a scribbly water-color look to it and I think it’s going to be very popular. The small sentiment is from another set, Wherever You Go, and it just fit on the little beach scene perfectly. I hope you like it!
The colors I used are shown below in the product details.
Enjoy this New Year’s Day and come back soon to see more fun ideas using Stampin’ Up products!
