It’s time for a Birthday Fiesta, Stampin’ Up! style…
My family loves Mexican food, so when one of us has a birthday to celebrate we often wind up at one of our local Mexican restaurants. This was the case last night when we celebrated my niece Alyssa’s 28th birthday and sixteen of us converged at Mariachi Loco, one of our local favorites.
When Stampin’ Up! released this Birthday Fiesta stamp set and all of it’s coordinating accessories I was beyond thrilled. I knew that it would allow me to create birthday cards that would totally relate to our family’s many celebrations.
A workshop project
This particular Birthday Fiesta Banners card was the result of a workshop that I did earlier in the week where participants made four different “card candy” projects which are stamped elements that can be added to a card. This card candy consisted of the llama on the half circle, the green starburst circle and then the six banners. (Everything but the backgound paper and card) I love showing people how to create projects by starting with a small design, adding a few embellishments and then placing it on a card. When my workshop attendees leave, they have four card beginnings and some homework to finish them up. Feedback has been very favorable and I am thrilled that they like getting their hands on multiple products during each workshop that they attend. What’s not to love? Stampin’ Up! has the best products in the industry. If you’d like to make some card candy, contact me today and we’ll set up a workshop!
I hope you stamp today!
