I had so much fun making this card! I started with a piece of watercolor paper and some Stampin’ Up watercolor pencils. I chose four colors, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Pacific Point and Daffodil Delight, scribbling them lightly over the watercolor paper in a diagonal direction. Then I took my aqua painter and went over the panel in the same diagonal direction as before, blending the colors beautifully.
I used my heat tool to quickly dry the panel and then stamped the lady from Beautiful You with Black Staz On ink. Her dress & hat were then colored in with the Pacific Point watercolor pencil and then blended with the aqua painter.
I am thrilled with the quality of Stampin’ Up’s watercolor pencils and have enjoyed the results that I’ve gotten with them. If you haven’t experienced them yet, you’re missing out on a great product. And if you’d like to give them a try, just click on the product picture below and order some for yourself! You deserve a set!!
The little black curly-cues were cut with a die from Cheerful Tags and I thought they worked well as accents above and below the label shaped window.
