Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing another card that was made during my Clean & Simple card classes earlier this month. It features a gold-embossed rose from the Graceful Garden stamp set and is water colored with Calypso Coral and Old Olive.
The background paper is a 6 x 6 stack, called Petal Garden and the colors in it are just stunning! You can order your package of it by clicking the product picture below.
Today I am sharing a daisy card which we made in my Clean & Simple classes this past week. The background features the large Burlap stamp which is placed diagonally and stamped with Crumb Cake ink on a panel of the same color. I love the fringed edges of this stamp!
The daisy is stamped twice on white card stock in Night of Navy ink with a Crushed Curry center and then punched out and layered together. I placed a Stampin’ Dimensional between the two flowers to give it some depth.
The Happy Birthday die is cut twice, once with Night of Navy, the other with Daffodil Delight and then they are offset, allowing for a shadow effect. A few gold sequins finish off the card.
I hope you like it! If you need any of the products to make this card, simply click on a product picture below and you’ll be taken to my Stampin’ Up store where you can shop to your hearts content! And thank you in advance!
Ready for a challenge!
This morning while I was having my coffee and browsing the web, I came across a color challenge that I just had to participate in. I absolutely love bright colors! This challenge comes from Fab Friday Challenge Blog and the trio of colors are shown below. They are Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo.
After finishing my coffee I headed to the craft room and started playing. I grabbed my Pattern Party Decorate Masks and some sponges and after several different attempts, here’s what I came up with.
I used Lemon Lime Twist ink on Lemon Lime Twist card stock for a somewhat subtle background, sponging through the large medallion stencil. Then I used some dies from Eastern Medallions Thinlits to create my centerpiece. A large Clear Faceted Gem and a piece of Black Mini Sequins Trim finishes off the card with a touch of glam.
The little sentiment “You’re Amazing” comes from Tabs for Everything stamp set and is stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Thanks for stopping by today!
